My father, Ali Aziz, wrote several plays and books during the 50s and 60s. The three that I know of is Chuchu Dato’ Merah, Dang Anom and Hang Jebat Menderhaka.
All 3 had movie adaptations with the same name involving giants of Malaysian movie industry like Husain Hanif, M Amin and Nordin Ahmad.
Many have said that these movies were the finest of that era and arguably of Malaysian movie history. I’ve decided to embark on a journey to discover my father’s works of literature and in doing so come to know my late father a little bit better.
So in the near and maybe far future, I will be documenting this journey through my vlogs on my Youtube Channel as well as the blogs on this site.

No matter at what stage of your life you are at the moment, whether you just graduated and starting out with your career or you feel you are at the tail end of your career, I hope that you will learn something that can help you.

Behind The Scenes Of My First Live Show
