Who’s the sucker?

A few years ago, one of the trainers of a workshop I was invited to as a guest instructor attempted to teach the participants that ‘there is a sucker born every minute’ and that we should take advantage of that to make money of them.

Needless to say, the entire room revolted against that trainer and he had to be removed from the rest of the workshop.

It is sometimes true that there are people out there who perhaps at that moment had less common sense or was feeling pretty vulnerable or just plain gullible, who bought something they shouldn’t have or needed, or gave info out that they shouldn’t, or just wanted to help someone out and ended up being taken advantage off.

Don’t be suspicious of everyone because of paranoia.

Don’t give too ready to give trust to strangers.

If it’s too good a deal, you’ll surely end up paying more at the end.
