Reza’s current swimming form has improved but there’s a long way to go…

The triathlon swim workout I have last monday was the toughest workout I’ve ever done. I managed to take some video during the workout and have made a short clip of it. I can immediately see a few things that I need to work on especially my recovery. I am still not finishing the stroke and am losing a lot of energy in doing so.

As you can see by the expression on my face, I was not a happy camper…….

  1. i think you need to relax a little bit. i get a feeling there’s too much effort in your strokes. you’re turning your body too much when your body shd remain stable. just enjoy it – it’s actually quite intuitive. good luck!

    • Thanks for the tip. I find that when I’m alone and not in any pressure to perform my strokes are quite smooth and my heart rate very stable. When I start to consciously go faster, my form falls apart. I think I swim faster when I’m on my own……

Cool video….keep it up….you definitely can improve and see results in a short time with constant practice…..I started last year without knowing how to swim freestyle to swimming freestyle 30 laps non-stop in Bukit Jalil in less than 1 month. You inspire me to start my exercises regime again……..
