Portrait – Jaclyn Bain

Portrait - Jaclyn BainI did another studio session today. My light are still not working properly. When I put my gridded beauty dish on the main light, it doesn’t seem to trigger the fill and background light. I’m thinking of getting rid of it.Anyway, this is my friend Jaclyn Bain who wanted me to take some pictures of her. Shy at first, she quickly lost all inhibitions and just had fun. This one was taken with the beauty dish on camera left. 1 softbox on camera right as fill and 1 for the background which had a red gel. Backdrop was a simple white cloth.Canon 1D Mark III70-200mm f/2.8 L IS at 200mmf/14 1/125th ISO 400 Manual ExposurePortrait - JaclynThis one had just 1 light on camera right which I used to light up Jaclyn’s face. The fall off from that light provided just enough light for the rest of her……….Canon 1D Mark IIIEF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS at 70mmf/14 1/125th ISO 400 Manual Exposure
